Payments

The standard consultation fees is $232 for a 50 minute psychology session which is to be paid within 48 hours of receiving the invoice.

​Potential Rebates

Mental Health Care Plan - if you have a mental health care plan for your child, you can obtain a rebate from Medicare of $98.95. Empower Kids Psychology does not process the rebate. Once the invoice has been paid in full, you can use your receipt to obtain the rebate from Medicare directly.

NDIS - the current NDIS rebate for psychology is $232.99 per hour. We accept NDIS funding from plan-managed or self-managed participants. 

​Private Health Insurance - if you are claiming a Private Health fund rebate, check with your private health fund for individual cover details. Empower Kids Psychology does not process the rebate. Once the invoice has been paid in full, you can use your receipt to obtain the rebate from the private health insurance company directly.

Cancellation Policy

If, for some reason you need to cancel or postpone your appointment, please let the Empower Kids Psychology know via email (admin@empowerkidspsychology.com.au) by 8:30am on the day of the appointment, otherwise you will be charged the cost for the session. If your child is sick, please cancel the appointment. It is understandable that this can not be planned for or avoided so cancelling in the morning by 8:30am is fine.
